Haiti Thrive exists to empower Haitian communities to build a future where growth, innovation, and leadership emerge from within. By nurturing education, sustainability, and leadership, we create spaces for Haitians to reclaim their legacy and thrive on their own terms.

About Our Programs
At Haiti Thrive, we focus on three core areas
Educational Reform
Our SOLE-based educational program is designed to give Haitian students access to quality education. The children are the future of Haiti, and by providing them with the right tools and resources, we aim to empower them to become tomorrow’s leaders. SOLE builds the creative and critical thinking skills essential for developing Haitian-led solutions to the country’s most pressing challenges.
Resilient Housing
In response to Haiti’s vulnerability to natural disasters, we’ve partnered with global manufacturers to bring prefab, expandable homes. These homes are built to last and provide families with a safe, sustainable housing solution.
Precious Plastics
Recycling Program
Haiti faces severe plastic pollution due to the lack of a reliable waste management system. Plastic waste is often burned or disposed of in waterways. We aim to build a cleaner, more sustainable environment while creating job opportunities in the recycling industry.
Leadership
Development
Young minds of today are the future leaders within the community. Our leadership development efforts aims to nurture those young minds so that they can become leaders and role models for generations to come.

Born and raised in Haiti, Lémec’s journey as a leader is fueled by a deep love for his homeland and a commitment to its self-determination. With years of experience in nonprofit leadership, he’s dedicated to empowering Haitians through education, community-driven change, and sustainability. Lémec envisions a Haiti where the creativity and strength of its people are the driving force behind a thriving, self-reliant future.
